BOURTON-on-the-WATER

This is a stunning village off of the A429 between Cirencester and Moreton-in-Marsh. Beautiful to wander through and full of visitor attractions for all the family.  The river Windrush meanders through the village with little bridges to cross over it.

Two roads lead to Bourton-on-the-Water, the one closer to Moreton-in-Marsh takes you to the large car park on Station Road. At the foot of this road is the High Street with most pubs along to the right which also takes you into the heart of the village and the river Windrush. Three pubs are alongside the river and the other a few minutes beyond the shops. The Coach and Horses is on the A429 just before you turn into the village.

  The Kingsbridge

Three pubs are found on the riverside in the centre of the village.

The Kingsbridge is the first. It has outdoor seating beside the river and also a very large and busy beer garden. The bar area is pleasant with friendly staff. The dining area supplies excellent food for all the family.
