Glasgow - West End St George's to Kelvin Bridge

Leaving The Lansdowne shift back to Great Wester Rd and the next church up is Webster’s. From here cross over the raod and the bridge (which looks over Kelvin Bridge subway. On the far corner, just off the bridge is Inn Deep. From here continue up Great Western Rd and turn left on to Otago St and follow this down, curves and all, until it crosses Gibson St. Turn left here and see The Left Bank opposite and down on left Stravaigin. Continue down Gibson St and across the bridge and turn left. Walk along to the next corner and The Doublet.
Leaving The Doublet walk down past its long side (Lounge Bar) and the road curves round to Kelvin Bridge subway- there is an alternative route back via 4 bars.

Websters is an old church converted into theatre with a bar at bottom right hand side.This is one large room with square servery coming off the left wall. Six stools around the bar with nine heavy tables, benches and square, around the side. Stained glass windows.

Inn Deep overlooks the river Kelvin. The door on the corner at the bridge takes you down a flight of stairs to the bar. Entrance can also be had by going down the side road and turning right onto a walkway which has tables outside of the bar. The main bar room is arched with the servery along the long wall and booths opposite it. A large range of real ales and craft beers

The Doublet has small frontage for such a long room , with Servery on right, and then through to lounge up some steps. Decor is mock tudor and very traditional brown rectangular tables with banquette seating around sides. There is a lounge door around to the side
