Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, although Edinburgh is the capital. The river Clyde runs through the centre of the city. The city centre is a large retail expereince, probably the most important outside of London.
There are over 20 Museums and Art galleries, including - The Burell Collection, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel.
With over 90 parks and gardens Glasgow is affectionately referred to as "the dear green place" some of the most impressive are Pollock Country Park, Kelvingrove park and Queens park.
Other places to visit are The Science Centre, Glengoyne Distillery and Tennents Brewery

From Glasgow Central walk to Queen St Station via the pedestrian areas along Gordon St and up Buchanan St. Turn right onto West George St and see Waxy O’ Connors a few doors along on the left.
(Or from Queen St Station exit by the main door and walk along the alley opposite this (at the side of Dow’s pub) to the back door of Waxy O’Connors.

From Glasgow Central walk out the main entrance and turn right and walk to the corner. Going down to the right is Union St while up to the left is Renfield St. This crawl is going wander up the left hand side of Renfield St then down the opposite side back to the train station.
